Condolences

Condolence From: Frank Ross
Condolence: My first memories of Doug were with my mother and brother when we got out of church going to Curtis Foodliner in the Southend of Rockland to pickup the Sunday Telegram and if we were good in church get a piece of candy. Seems like every time we ran out of milk or needed something other than on shopping day we stopped by and saw either Poly or Doug if he was home from sea smiling behind the counter. Last time I saw Doug he had the same smile on his face. What a wonderful man.

Condolence: We carry in our hearts the glow of this very fine man. His good cheer, his generosity, his faith--what a model! We are deeply grateful for having had him in our lives during the years we have been able to share in St. Peter's and in the community life of Rockland. Thanks be to God!

Condolence: Greg,

My condolences to you and your entire family. I always enjoyed visiting with your dad as he was such a kind gentleman and beautiful story teller...traits he passed on to his entire family. I also greatly admired him as a Mariner and Naval Reservist...both say so much about a man's values and character! Waldo, I know you and your family will miss him dearly and you have our deepest sympathies. God bless.
