Condolence From: Becky Burnham
Condolence: To Brenda's Nova Scotia families my E-mail is Burnham@Mindspring.com I am David's first cousin and am handling things for Brenda. Am interested in making contact with you. Would you want any pictures? Pictures of our small family gravesite service?
Through the Knowltons, naturally we all come from William and Wife who landed in Nova Scotia.

Thank you so much for the nice, nice thoughts for Brenda. Am sorry not to have information about your families or I would have been in touch - there was nothing with any information on Nova Scotia.
Fondly, Becky

Condolence From: Barb (Knowlton) Kaiser
Condolence: My name is Barb (Knowlton) Kaiser and I am the youngest daughter of Gerald & Nina Knowlton. My dad was Brenda's mother's brother. I, as my siblings do, remember Brenda's visit to our home in Cole Harbour (outside of Dartmouth NS) in 1967 and what fun it was as young children to meet our cousin from the United States. She & Penny certainly left a mark in my memory bank. It was a great learning experience to be exposed to Brenda and her working dog Penny. They were such a trusting team together. What a wonderful bond. Brenda was kind, generous and very personable. We enjoyed our time together as I am sure she did as well. We are very sorry to hear of her passing and I hope she may rest in peace. God Bless Brenda. Keeping Brenda in our thoughts, Barb & DeVerne Kaiser of Lake Echo Nova Scotia Canada

Condolence From: Gloria Knowlton
Condolence: I was very saddened to hear of Brenda's passing. I am also a first cousin to Brenda and remember her visit to Dartmouth Nova Scotia back in 1967. Brenda had her guide dog, Penny, with her and we were all so impressed with her determination and sense of humor. My mother, Nina, (married to Gerald Knowlton) use to keep in touch with Brenda for many years but unfortunately, we lost touch.

I would like to extend my sincere sympathy to Brenda's family, extended family and friends. My thoughts are with you.

Condolence From: Louise Roma
Condolence: My name is Louise(Knowlton)Roma from Nova Scotia, Canada, also a first cousin to Brenda. I am saddened to learn of Brenda’s passing today. My father, Gerald Knowlton was a brother to Brenda’s mother, Shirley. I have fond memories of Brenda and her guide dog spending a few summer weeks visiting our family in Nova Scotia, I believe it was 1967 or near this date. My mother, Nina did correspond with Brenda for many years and we were aware of Brenda’s activities.

Sincere condolences,

Louise & Dave Roma

Condolence From: Mary Ella Rafuse
Condolence: In memory of my dear 1st cousin, Brenda, her mother Shirley and my mother Evelyn were Knowlton sisters from Nova Scotia. I last talked with Brenda two days after her operation on Sept. 10th - never to hear from her again. I called several times, finally today, a friend in Texas spoke with the Police, who began a search - to no avail. I was advised to file a missing persons' report. A very kind lady Officer Weil did research - sadly we found Brenda's obituary. My condolences to her family and friends in Texas. Rest in Peace dear cousin.
