Condolences

Condolence From: Jeffrey and Jo Ann Weatherbee
Condolence: Our condolences to Ruth's family and friends. Jeffrey enjoyed Ruth's librarian skills when working with her at the junior high in Rockland, and I will always treasure the times we enjoyed our swimming together at the Samoset. We certainly will miss Ruth.

Condolence: Oh my. How sad to hear of Mrs. Small's passing. She was such a wonderful spirited woman. I remember helping her in the library when I was in junior high school. In later years,I remember chatting with her while working at the IGA. She would sometimes come into Amalfi on The Water while I was hostess there. Her eyes would like up when I would speak to her. I asked one day if she knew who I was. She replied "I'm afraid I can't recall your name but I know I know those eyes." Her eyes were twinkling. She made me smile a broad smile. I reminder her who I was. And yes, she remembered. She always had a sweet smile and a soft voice. She will be lovingly missed...

My deepest and dearest condolences to all the family. Dearest Edie, know that I am thinking of you at this difficult time. I love you. Much love

Condolence: Mrs. Small was one my favorite people ever. From the days when I was one of her "library workers" at the Junior High to later when I would meet her generally in the Rockland Public Library. Always a smile, a laugh and always a kind word. She always remembered that I had a love of books and libraries in general.

To her family, I hope her passing was peaceful. The world is a better place because of people like Mrs. Small. She will be greatly missed.

Respectfully,
Ronald Dyer

Condolence: I lived next door to Ruth all during my childhood. We fondly called her Grammy Small and she definitely was a fill in grandmother to my sister and I. We were often at the Small's home either sledding down their hill or sitting on the front porch chatting. She opened her home to us like family and treated us with such kindness and love. I will always remember her cheek pinching and peanut butter cookies. I will miss Grammy Small greatly but my memories of her will live on forever. My condolences to all her family.

Condolence: Dear Barbara, Joel and Family,

I would so love to attend your Mother's funeral, but unfortunately I will be at my daughter's that day. I just wanted you to know that I am sorry for your your loss, and it is a loss for you and for all of us! Your mother was truly the kindest person I have ever known. And her gentle smile could truly brighten my spirit.

Blessings,
Kathleen
