Edith Rebecca  Anderson (Seastrom)
Tenants Harbor - Edith R. Anderson, 94, passed peacefully surrounded by her grandchildren, Saturday, July 12, 2014 at Windward Gardens in Camden.

Born in Whitinsville, Massachusetts, June 2, 1920, she was the daughter of Rubin O. and Clara M. (Bjork) Seastrom.

Edith graduated from St. George High School in 1938 and married Robert Norman Anderson December 21, 1940.

Edith was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Robert Norman Anderson, and daughter, Karen A. Ware. Edith is survived by a brother, Hilding E. Seastrom of Tenants Harbor; son-in-law John Ware, Sr. of Owls Head; granddaughters, Rebecca M. Ware of Thomaston, Susan W. Page and husband Charlie of South Thomaston; grandson John Ware, Jr. of Owls Head; great-granddaughter Jasmine K. Colson; great-grandsons Jack R. Page and Blake A. Page; nephew Kim Seastrom and wife Ann of Rockport; a niece Kristin Gould and husband Dave of Thomaston, as well as two great-nieces and one great-nephew.

A graveside committal service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, July 19, 2014, at the North Parish Cemetery at Wiley’s Corner, St. George. The Reverend Walden Chandler will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the St. George Firefighters and Ambulance Association, P.O. Box 249, Tenants Harbor, ME 04860, or the Life Flight Foundation, PO Box 899, Camden, ME 04843.
