SPRUCE HEAD - Benjamin Deford, 38, son of Mac and Zehra Deford of Rackliff Island, Spruce Head, died unexpectedly June 2, 2014 in Rhinebeck, NY.

A 1997 graduate of Bard College, he had recently moved to Portland from the Hudson Valley in NY.

His friends held a gathering in his memory at Bard College last Thursday, June 12, 2014

A memorial service will be held at his parents house on Rackliff Island at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, July 12, 2014.
