She was an avid genealogist and enjoyed reading. She had compiled genealogies for the Woodman and Dow families.
Freda was a longtime member of both the Owls Head Grange and Owls Head Baptist Church.
Other than her parents, Freda was pre-deceased by two brothers, William Woodman in 1994, and Osmond ‘Buddy’ Woodman in 2013. She is survived by her beloved husband Chester of Owls Head; her sister Lura Michaels of Owls Head; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A service will be held at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, June 17, 2014, at Burpee, Carpenter & Hutchins Funeral Home, 110 Limerock Street, Rockland. Burial will be in the Ash Point Cemetery, Owls Head.
