WARREN - Alison M. Low, 38, died Thursday, March 20, 2014 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident on Atlantic Highway here.
Born in Methuen, Massachusetts, December 25, 1975, she was the daughter of John R. and Carol Pratt Kimball. As a young girl, she moved with her family to South Thomaston where she attended Gilford Butler School and Rockland District High School.
On September 3, 2007, Alison married Kenneth Darrin Low.
She first worked as a cook at the Sail Loft Restaurant in Rockport, and for several years as a CRMA at Jefferson Green in Jefferson. She then worked at Maritime Farms in Warren, and later at Seven Tree Manor in Union. Most recently Alison was employed at the Maine Smoke Shop in Rockland.
Alison loved music and with her husband attended many heavy metal concerts. She also enjoyed crafts, scrap-booking and knitting. She was a supportive friend and helped others before herself. An avid 'facebooker', she had many friends she kept in close contact with.
Predeceased by her mother, Carol Ann Kaznecki, Alison is survived by her loving husband Darrin; her father John Kimball of Warren; her step-father John Kaznecki of South Thomaston; her son, Dustin R. Kimball; her daughter, Cierra J. Kimball both of Warren; two sisters, Melissa Earnest of Derry, NH, Bonnie Larrabee of Rockland; mother-in-law Joyce Low Pitcher and her husband Barry of Washington; two grandmother-in-laws Ruth Low of Rockland, Mary Liter of Madison, IN; brothers-in-law Ryan Low and his wife Therese of Winthrop, David Low of Rockport; sister-in-law Lynn Renecker and family; nieces and nephews, Brianna Ellis, BreAnna Dubay, Ian Low, Kaitlyn Earnest, Quinn Low, Gabrielle Low and Grace Low, as well as many close and special friends.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Sunday, April 6, 2014, at the Warren Odd Fellows Hall, located at the intersection of Routes 1 & 90, in Warren. All are welcome and encouraged to dress in jeans, concert shirts or casual attire.
