ROCKPORT – Keith R. Russell, 36, died unexpectedly of natural causes at his home, Monday, July 23, 2012.

Born in Waterville, January 3, 1976, he was the son of Thomas A. and Diane M. Bosse Russell. Raised in Winslow, he was a 1994 graduate of Winslow High School. In 1998 Keith graduated from Kennebec Valley Technical College, having earned certification as an X-ray Technician.

Shortly after graduating from KVTC, Keith moved to Rockland and began employment as an X-ray Technician at Pen Bay Medical Center in Rockport. At the time of his death, Keith was completing his 13th year of employment at PBMC, where he enjoyed the friendship of his co-workers.

On April 4, 2009, Keith married the ‘Love of his life’, Heather M. Douglas.

He had an extensive collection of movies and movie memorabilia. He was also a member of the Ancient Ones of Maine, living history group.

More than anything, Keith was devoted to his family. He loved spending time with his family and his daughter Isabella was his pride and joy. Keith was looking forward to the birth of his second daughter, Makayla, who is due in November.

Keith was pre-deceased by his father in 2004, his maternal grandfather Ludwin Bosse, and his paternal grandparents Richard and Lillian Russell. He is survived by his wife Heather and daughter Isabella Mae both of Rockport; his mother Diane Russell of Winslow; his sister Kelly Anderson, her husband David and their children Nathan and Ashley, all of Wilmington, MA; his maternal grandmother Gloria Bosse of Waterville; his mother and father-in-law Timothy and Carmen Douglas of Warren; his sister-in-law Crystal Priestly and her husband Kurt of Belmont; as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.

A memorial celebration of Keith’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 31, 2012, at Burpee, Carpenter & Hutchins Funeral Home, 110 Limerock Street, Rockland. A reception will follow at the funeral home’s ‘104 Limerock’, reception facility. Interment will be in the West Rockport Cemetery.
