ROCKLAND – Guenther H. Robert, 82, husband of Emilia Robert, died Monday, April 23, 2012 at Maine Medical Center in Portland.

Born in Berlin, Germany, August 27, 1929, he was one of four sons of Geörg and Dora Radke Robert. He immigrated to the United States in 1947, and first resided in Kansas City, Missouri.

He served in the United States Army and returning to civilian life, he worked more than 20 years as a Reservation Agent with KLM Royal Dutch Airways.

In November of 1969, he married Emilia A. Cantore in Forest Hills, New York.

Mr. Robert moved here from Bristol, Rhode Island in October of 2005.
Besides his beloved wife of Rockland, Mr. Roberts is survived by a brother, Manfred Robert of Huston, Texas, and a life-long friend, Raymond Moore of Amherst, Massachusetts.
