Cremation

Caring CremationSM ... $2760

These prices are effective January 1, 2010 and are subject to change without notice.

This basic cremation option involves cremation with no formal ceremony. Maine State law (TITLE 32 §1405), dictates, "the body of a deceased person shall not be cremated for 48 hours after decease, unless that individual died of a contagious of infectious disease."

The 48 hour waiting period provides time for the completion of all required legal documents and when necessary, provides time for medical/legal investigation prior to cremation.

Funeral Ceremony with cremation

This cremation option involves a service or gathering held at our funeral home, a church, another public facility, or private residence.
